My Journey to Bainbridge Island

I grew up on Cape Cod, in Massachusetts, and moved west in 1997. Bainbridge Island was my first stop. It took me a few more years to make the move to the island from Seattle after completing a graduate program at the University of Washington. After our first child was born, my husband and I were looking to put down roots and we knew Bainbridge would be the perfect place to do it. We now have two wonderful little girls and feel fortunate to be raising them in such a fantastic community. The friendships we have made, the beautiful surroundings and the resources of the community are all reasons that we have chosen to make the island our permanent home.

Qualifications

Licensed as a real estate agent since 2004, I am proud to be a second generation real estate professional. Prior to working in real estate I was an ecological statistician for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association, Fisheries Division. I have a M.S. in quantitative ecology from the University of Washington. This translates well to my current profession; a crucial role I play is to synthesize large data sets down to the critical pieces, and translate them into meaningful information for my clients. This is important to buyers and sellers in today’s information-saturated economy.

My Work Philosophy

Buying or selling a home isn’t just about real estate. Usually there is an important event underlying the decision to make a purchase and/or sale. My job as a real estate professional is to help my clients make the best real estate decisions during those critical times of change. I work hard for my clients, treating their needs and concerns with the utmost care, respect and diligence.
